St. John's Lutheran Church Gallery Exhiibit

The Exhibit:

This exhibit is presented by Keith R. Sbiral for the St. John’s Lutheran Church, Des Moines, Iowa September 2020. The exhibit, originally scheduled for a physical gallery show in April, 2020 was postponed due to COVID-19. After debating when the exhibit could be presented physically, we have determined that a virtual event will best serve the needs of the community at this time.

From Winneshiek County to the World: Connecting with Place & People presents an eclectic mix of both color and black & white photography from 13 different countries made primarily from 2016-2019. Images are taken from several projects and include both people and the places they inhabit, and sometimes a mix of both. Many of these images were originally displayed in 2019 at The Rangefinder Gallery, Chicago, Illinois in a show entitled, Connecting with Place & People: Traveling the World with a Leica.

One-third of all proceeds will be donated to The Arts at St. John's (St. John's Lutheran Church, Des Moines, Iowa), sponsors of this on-line exhibit.
